Living in a major city, it can be seriously tough to find passable housing that you can afford.
The rental rates in this neighborhood are nothing to sneeze at. If you are living alone, you don’t have many possibilities besides living in a tiny household in a dangerous part of town. Everything else is just too luxurious to viably afford on a normal person’s budget. That’s why, when I saw my dream house go on the market at an affordable rate in an incredible city, I jumped at the possibility to live there. I signed the lease without paying enough attention to all of the details. Now, I am particularly regretting that part of my decision as the outdoor air temperature slowly climbs plus Summer sets in. When I was looking for a home, it was the middle of winter. I didn’t worry about the air conditioning component in my modern house whatsoever, because I was too worried about staying warm. Now, the outdoor air temperature is steeply increasing afternoon after afternoon, plus the air quality is quickly becoming humid afternoon in plus afternoon out. It’s at the point where we need to run our central air conditioning component respectfully, however unfortunately, it turns out that our central AC system is at least 15 years outdated in this rental. My room never entirely gets cool enough, plus the AC component is already running nonstop. I tried reaching out to the landlord, even though he won’t return my iPhone calls about the cooling system. I am terrified to see what our energy bill is going to be like, plus I am not excited for the prospect of a sizzling plus humid summer.
