Last winter, my great friend and I set records for the amount of snow accumulation. Several feet would often fall overnight, creating sizable drifts. My associate and I respectfully experienced hot plus cold temperatures below zero. The season was especially long plus difficult. The boiler ran at maximum capacity for nearly eight straight months. As abruptly as the freezing weather arrived, the temperature abruptly warmed up. Our local part right away got hit with thunderstorms. My associate and I dealt with torrential downpours plus high winds that knocked down tree limbs. There were expansive power outages. My condo was without electricity for almost a week. Without power, my great friend and I had no access to running water, refrigeration or internet. The sump pump no longer operated plus the basement flooded. Because of the moisture, there were issues with mold plus mildew growth plus issues with indoor air quality. The rain made it impossible to open the windows, plus my great friend and I couldn’t run the cooling system. The condo was terribly hot plus uncomfortable. It was impossible to relax, be productive or get a great night’s sleep. Being without electricity was absolutely inconvenient. There was a lot of harm, expense plus clean up. It got me thinking that my great friend and I could not go without power while in the winter. A working boiler is essential. Without heat, it would be absolutely likely that our water lines would freeze plus burst. I might need to relocate my family to a hotel.I would cherish not to drive over icy roads while in a blizzard. Because of these issues, I invested into a permanently installed standby generator. It automatically starts up in the event of an outage plus within seconds, provides satisfactory power for the whole house. I now have the peace of mind of knowing I’ll be able to run the heater, cooling system, dehumidifier, sump pump, refrigerator, water pump plus all our essential systems.
