My hubby unfortunately thinks he is quite handy.
Anytime something breaks in the home I just cringe.
He whips out his toolset and gets to work. He is downright giddy to try his hand at fixing things. He usually starts out determined and ends up super mad. He throws tools, swears, and ends up making the service worse. When my air conditioner quit during the summer time I hid it from him. A Chicago AC service during the summer time isn’t exactly cheap however it isn’t as much as buying a new system. Our air conditioner was over 15 years old. It couldn’t take the use and abuse my hubby puts it through. It was honestly like trying to hide an affair from him. I had to find a reason to get my hubby out of the house. I then called a Chicago AC service company and begged them to come right away. I paid extra for an appointment that afternoon. I also hurried the Chicago cooling repairman along since I didn’t want my hubby to see him. I paid in money and cleaned the home to hide the evidence. I then never talked about it with anyone. My hubby came to the condo and the home was perfectly cooled and nobody’s feelings were hurt. I hope that I don’t have to call for another Chicago air conditioner repair. It was harshly stressful. I was happy a company was able to help me out though on such short notice. I can’t have my hubby see anything wrong with the cooling system. It is too delicate to take his form of repair.
